Аномальная жара истязает жителей Европейского континента и заставляет их мечтать о холдных землях, таких как Арктика. Однако, европейская полоса сильной жары уже на своем пути в Арктику. 

 Зной уже ударил по самым густонаселенным городам: Париж, Лондон, Брюссель, Амстердам, Мюнхен и другие - побиты все предыдущие температурные рекорды.

Высокая температура возникла в, так называемом, тепловом куполе (зона высокого атмосферного давления), который снижает мощность струйного течения и перемещает в Европу погоду из Сахары. Прогнозы обещают, что эта зона высокого давления будет двигаться в сторону Скандинавии и Европейской Арктики в конце июля. Как только она достигнет Северного Ледовитого океана, массы теплого воздуха начнут повышать температуру и активно поражать морской лед.

Подобные экстремальные погодные явления возникают все чаще и чаще, и каждая готова побить предыдущие максимумы погодной суровости. Вероятной причиной этого является антропогенное влияние на потепление климата, главным образом, выбросы парниковых газов.

The Northern Youth Forum (NYF) is a youth wing of the Northern Forum, consisting of representatives of young people from the age of 16 to 40 years.

Mission of the NYF is to strengthen the spirit of trust and cooperation between young representatives of Northern regions and countries at the stage of personal and professional views’ formation.

Goal of the NYF is to promote the interests and views of young people in solving the problems facing the Northern Forum by using the potential of international youth cooperation.
