Regulations of the All-Russian Distance Olympiad

"With mathematics through life" in the framework of projects

"Perspective" and "Contour of the future"

for students of grades 5-9 of secondary schools

in the 2020-2021 academic year

             Municipal budgetary educational institution "Berdigestyakh Secondary school named after A. N. Osipov" Berdigestyakh MR "Gorny Ulus" of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) offers students of the northern regions to participate in the All-Russian distance online Olympiad "With mathematics in life" for solving practice-oriented problems. The online Olympiad "With mathematics through life" for students in grades 5-9 is held as part of the events of the projects "Perspective" and "Contour of the Future" with the support of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, the Institute for Education Development and Advanced Training of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

1. Goals and objectives of the Distance Olympiad:

  • Providing students with opportunities to develop and demonstrate intellectual abilities in a competitive manner.
  • Creating conditions for supporting gifted children
  • Involvement of schoolchildren in distance education.
  • Preparing students for solving problems arising in the practical activities of a person, and developing their readiness to apply knowledge and skills in the process of their life.

             2. Conditions and procedure for holding the Distance Olympiad

2.1. The participants of the Distance Olympiad are students of grades 5-9 of secondary schools.

2.2. Participation in the Distance Olympiad is voluntary and individual, without prior selection and without an organizational fee.

2.3 The Olympiad is held remotely in two stages.

1st round - 01.12.2020 - 09.12.2020

2nd round - 12/10/2020 - 12/20/2020

2.4. The distance Olympiad is held on separate sets of tasks for grades 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

2.5. To participate in the Distance Olympiad, the local coordinator from the school sends an application to the Olympiad's email address: from 20.11.2020 to 30.11.2020.

       The group application form is attached in the regulation. After accepting applications within a certain period of time, a link by class is sent to the local coordinator.

2.6. The submitted application automatically means the consent of the legal representatives to the student's participation in the Olympiad.

2.7. Using the link, students go to the Google Forms website, select a class, and solve problems within 60 minutes. Answers are written as whole or decimal fractions separated by commas, without spaces. The answers are accompanied by a legible photo or scan of the problem solutions.

2.8. The minutes of the results of the 1st round and the list of participants of the 2nd round are sent to the coordinator on 10.12.

3.9. Round 2 of the Olympiad 12/10/2020 - 12/20/2020 according to the same scheme.

3.10. ... Summing up the results of the 2nd round. Awarding the winners of the Olympiad 20.12.2020-25.12.2020 Diplomas and certificates are sent by mail.

         Summing up the results of the Distance Olympiad is carried out according to the results of personal (individual) offset. The winners and prize-winners of the Distance Olympiad are determined on the basis of the results of the participants for each class separately. Participants of two rounds of the Distance Olympiad receive a participant certificate.
