The projects of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra participate in the II All-Russian competition of the best environmental practices "Reliable Partner - Ecology". According to the organizers, the competition is designed to promote the implementation of the National Project "Ecology" in terms of identifying the most successful and effective regional environmental practices and projects for their further replication and scaling throughout the country.

A member of the Northern Forum presented 2 successful projects in two nominations for participation in the competition.

In the direction of "The best educational project in the field of ecology", the project "The Red Book through the Eyes of Children" was presented, which has been fruitfully working under the auspices of the Northern Forum since 2018 as part of the International Environmental Campaign "To Save and Preserve". The purpose of the Project is to promote the preservation of natural and historical and cultural heritage, the formation of an ecological culture and an active life position of the younger generation towards the problem of reducing the species diversity of the flora and fauna of individual regions and the planet as a whole.

In the nomination "The best educational project in the field of ecology" from Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, the project "We are responsible for those we have taught" is presented. The project started in 2012 and is held annually. The goal of the International Children's Creativity Project “We are responsible for those we have tamed” is to form an ecological culture, moral culture and an active life position of the younger generation in relation to the problem of cruelty to domestic and homeless animals.
