<p">Today, October 14, the opening of the YEF 2021 took place online. The organizers greeted the participants, explained the progress of the Forum, and the students of the Berdigestyakh secondary school of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) congratulated on the opening and showed creative videos.
At the opening, the results of the photo contest "Consequences of Natural Disasters" were summed up, which took place within the framework of the IEF 2021 on Instagram with the hashtag #youthecoforum. According to the results of the competition, three winners were revealed:
- 1st place - Okhlopkov Nikita - Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
- 2nd place - Artem Shekhovtsov - Belgorod region
- 3rd place - Ashurov Nadir-Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
Congratulations guys! Prizes in the form of certificates of 5000 ₽ (1st place), 3000 ₽ (2nd place) and 2000 ₽ (3rd place) will be handed over shortly.
Also, for the participants of the Forum, lectures were held and the leading experts in the field of ecology answered questions:
- Mikhail Zheleznyak, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Director of the Institute of Permafrost Studies named after V.I. P.I. Melnikov of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Isaev Arkady, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Chief Researcher of the Institute for Biological Problems of Permafrost, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Nikolaev Anatoly, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Rector of the North-Eastern Federal University named after V.I. M.K. Ammosov;
The second day of the YEF 2021 will begin work tomorrow, where participants will present their projects to the expert council.
