Within two weeks, from 27 August till 8 September, researchers lived in camp of the reindeer herders. According to Andrey Golovnev, this expedition was the first stage of scale project "Mobility in the Arctic. Ethnic traditions and technological innovation".

The main object of this expedition is to understand what nomadic lifestyle is and what is its aspects. Secondary, we consider, the description of nomadism is useful for all inhabitants of the North, as general technologies  of this mobile lifestyle is good for everybody.  Thirdly, we consider nomadic foundations in the context of design. Nomadism is getting popular among urban population.
During the exibition researchers made mapping, measured the route of reindeers herders' movement and filmed the footage.

However, the scientist noted, it doesn't mean that the researsh ends. The group plan to return to Chaun in March 2015. As the governor of Chukotka, Roman Kopin said, the government will support them.

Also scientists plan to make epeditions to remote areas like Yamal, Komi and Yakutia. Outcome of study should be a documentary about nomads' life and philosophy.
