Improving the effectiveness of the membership-based organisation depends to a large extent on coordinated work with the regions. It is necessary to synchronise work plans, the Secretariat holds regular meetings with regional coordinators to discuss joint actions.
Today, on February 12, a productive meeting was held with Anton Narchuganov, Head of the Agency for Development of Northern Territories and Support of Indigenous Minorities of Krasnoyarsk Krai.
At the end of last year, the region took the lead in the Northern Youth Forum. The region's governor, Mikhail Kotyukov, is chairman of the State Council of the Russian Federation's commission on technological leadership. This provides a good basis for combining the potential of youth, science and education. It is encouraging that the region is becoming more and more actively involved in the activities of the Northern Forum. We will work to create points of growth and attraction in each of our regions.
