On March 30, 2022, a meeting was held with the Executive Director of the Northern Forum Vladimir Vasilev and Director of the Department of International Cooperation - Vice-Rector for International Affairs Nurgun Maximov.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of expanding international cooperation between the northern regions and Asian countries, incl. opportunities for research work of institutes, universities and colleges in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and Russia. According to its mission under the Development Program until 2030, NEFU is ready to carry out research that ensures the achievement of national goals and the solution of geostrategic tasks in the Far East and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
