Since July 2023 Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra has assumed the chairmanship in the International Organization of Northern Regions "Northern Forum". Taking into account the chairmanship of Ugra in the Northern Forum, it was decided to establish a special prize for the International Festival of Cinematic Debuts "Spirit of Fire".

The special nomination of the Northern Forum presents an award in the form of souvenirs - a special prize "For preserving the traditions and heritage of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic and the North", as well as a cash prize in the amount of 100 thousand rubles.

Authors of debut and full-length and documentary film projects, representatives of film crews among the participating regions of the Northern Forum are invited to participate in the fight for a special nomination.

Applications for participation in the special nomination are accepted at: . In the subject of the lette you must specify: "To participate in the special nomination of the Northern Forum." In the application, specify the surname, first name, patronymic (if any) of the participant, the name of the competition work and a link to the film. Applications are accepted until March 20.

From March 23 to 26, 2024, the XXII International Festival of Cinematic Debuts "Spirit of Fire" will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk. The theme of 2024 is "The special language of national cinematography".

The Festival of Cinematic Debuts "Spirit of Fire" has been held since 2002 with the support of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra. In addition to competitive and non-competitive programs, in 2024, guests will enjoy a rich cultural and educational program with lectures, presentations and performances.
