The presence of the Arctic Pavilion allows us to communicate with a huge number of representatives of different countries, to establish ties and expand the network of partners.

We can say that a good basis is being created for working with the countries of the “Third Pole”, the Middle East, the host country: Pakistan, Oman, Bangladesh, India, Azerbaijan. In the near future, the country events of the Northern Forum will become a traditional form of developing cooperation with the whole world.

The Northern Forum was previously an observer of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Then, however, the connection was interrupted due to the difficult situation in the organization itself. The status was restored in 2021, and every year the level and scope of our work at the COP grows, and very rapidly.

At Copenhagen in 2009, the Northern Forum was represented by only a couple of Yakutians. As you can see, at that time the World Wide Fund for Nature was putting up an Arctic tent on the street. And now the Northern Forum has organized, with the support of the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation and the BRICS Youth Energy Agency, a real pavilion in the “Blue” business zone of the COP.
