On May 25 in Khanty-Mansiysk, as part of the scientific and practical conference “Youth Arctic: Science for the Future”, the Northern Youth Forum roundtable “The Arctic and Youth: What should the youth movement in the Arctic be like?” was held.

 

The round table was attended by young scientists, public figures and activists - candidates and partners of the Northern Youth Forum from Kamchatka, Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Yamalo-Nenets,Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrugs, Magadan, Murmansk regions, Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as from 3 foreign countries - India, China and Mongolia.

 

The participants shared their vision for the development of youth cooperation in the North and in the Arctic and proposed to draw up a general plan of activities under the auspices of the Northern Youth Forum.

 

The next meeting of the Committee of Regional Coordinators of The Northern Forum will form an updated structure, approve the governing board, and appoint the Chairman of the Northern Youth Forum.
