Regrettably, the International Arctic Pavilion at COP31 Will Not Take Place
The Northern Forum deeply regrets to announce that, despite being granted the right to establish the Arctic Pavilion at the 31st UN Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Antalya, Turkey (November 9–20, 2026), the Pavilion will unfortunately not take place.
We extend our sincere apologies to all partners and participants who were looking forward to the continuation of this important initiative.
As a reminder, the Arctic Pavilion was first established by the Northern Forum, with the support of the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation, at COP29 in Baku in 2024. That inaugural event hosted 45 sessions featuring speakers from over 50 countries and leading international organizations, including key UN bodies and the IAEA.
The announcement regarding COP31 generated tremendous interest and numerous inquiries from around the world. The Northern Forum Secretariat thanks everyone who reached out and expressed their readiness to partner and participate.
Unfortunately, current circumstances have made it impossible to realize the project this year. We deeply regret this and apologize to everyone who had planned to take part in the Pavilion's activities.
We look forward to collaborating with all of you to establish the Arctic Pavilion next year.
