North-Eastern Federal University and the University of Lapland (Finland) will collaborate in improving the quality of student education and teacher qualifications, as well as expanding research. The agreement was signed within the framework of the Northern Sustainable Development Forum in Yakutsk on September 24.
In particular, cooperation will be implemented as part of the student, teacher exchange programs, as well as joint research activities and special academic programs.
“Human thinking works only through one paradigm. However, we must understand that everything around, including sustainable development, has undergone a cliche. We need new approaches to sustainable development. I think the signed agreement will lead to something new and fresh, ” president of the University of Lapland, Mauri Ylä-Kotola noted.
