On March 26-28, Open Educational and Research Conference of Schoolchildren on Diplomacy and International Relations "Model UN in Yakutia" was held. The venue of the conference became the hall of the Academic Council of North-Eastern Federal University.
The event was attended by 34 schoolchildren from Tattinsky, Megino-Kangalassky, Srednekolymsky, Aldansky, Gorny, Amginsky uluses, as well as from the cities of Yakutsk and Neryungri. During the Model, they were able to try themselves in the role of delegates of various countries – members of UN.
The event was attended by honored guests from various organizations:
- Konstantin Egorov – Deputy Director of the Ytyk-Kuyol Secondary School No 1
- Alexey Alekseev – Deputy General Director for Financial and Regulatory Affairs, Microcredit Company "Entrepreneurship Development Fund"
- Vladislav Adamov – Attache of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Yakutsk.
- Alexander Kuzmin – Deputy Representative of the Regional Branch of the "Dvizhenie Pervykh" in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
- Oleg Milyukov – Teacher of Additional Education of the Republican Resource Center "Young Yakutians"
Based on the results of the model, the winners were selected, who were solemnly awarded certificates, nominations, as well as valuable prizes. Each participant was also presented with souvenirs prepared by the organizers.
