On June 22, 2020, a meeting of the Northern Forum Regional Coordinators Committee was held online on Zoom platform.

Regional Coordinators Committee meeting was held online for the first time.

The moderator of the meeting was Sergey Stanislavovich Kungurtsev, Chairman of the Committee for Arctic Affairs, International and Interregional Relations of the Department of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

As part of the meeting, acting Executive Director Daryana Maximova made a presentation on the activities of the Northern Forum in 2019. Also, the resolutions “On approval of the work plan of the Northern Forum for 2020”; “On Amending the Terms and Conditions of the Northern Forum Call for Projects”; “On the appointment of the Northern Forum officials” were discussed.

The Regional Coordinators Committee agreed on a decision to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Northern Forum Call for Projects - now organizations from at least two member regions of the Northern Forum will be able to apply. The Northern Forum Call for projects will be launched on July 1, 2020.

The meeting of the Northern Forum Regional Coordinators Committee was attended by 10 regions.
