From October 23 to 26, the Siberian Historical Forum takes place in Krasnoyarsk, in the congress hall of the Siberian Federal University. This year's theme: "Yenisei Siberia in the History of Russia" (This year's Forum is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Yeniseisk).
The Siberian Historical Forum is being held for the seventh time. This year, the forum gathered scientists, including art historians, area historians, philologists, geographers, cultural experts, religious scholars, folklorists and many others to discuss the history of architecture and urban planning of Siberian cities, the socio-economic development of the Yenisei Siberia, museums of Siberia and much more. The program of the Forum is very extensive. The total number of the announced reports is 219.
The organizers of the Siberian Historical Forum are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Geographical Society, the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Administration of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, and the Siberian Federal University.
